Don't have a 4880 or 90 but I've been using my 4800 for years and haven't had a problem with it. Honestly, for art I wouldn't use anything but an Epson. The pigment inks will last and are top notch in color. Always have to be carefull when loading canvas, though. It's easy to jam and canvas costs a lot. Other than that and the fact that it's an ink hog, I can't think of anythong bad to say about it.

 

I go to inkjetart.com for my inks, papers and canvas. Don't be tempted by anything glossy, always get matte...even in canvas!

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!
