Let's just cut to the chase. There are people who won't be happy with any new figure until Poser gets one that can do the things Genesis does in Studio.

Others, are firmly stuck in the past with V4, V3, etc. Why I hear there's one poor soul who firm believes there's life left in Posette.

 

And I, myself, like diversity in figures, so the native Poser figures work fine for me.

To answer your question, while some people may have a preference for the tools they use, one should always remember, it's not the tool, it's the artist.
