Not sure if I do or not since I am not on my personal computer at the moment, do you know if this is the default setting? If so then I do as I haven't changed any of those settings.

No. It is not the default setting. You have to go in and check the "Separate Process" box located under Edit>General Preferences>Render.

 

OK I have checked it now but I wil have to wait until tomorrow to try it out as it is close to midnight here and I need to get to bed. I will post my render settings and how my test goes tomorrow
