The sale prices are valid during the time of checkout only and the sales end at 12:00 midnight Rendo system time as all of these showcase sales are a 24 hour period beginning and ending at midnight.  

 

We strongly encourage folks to try hard to not wait until minutes before the sale ends to complete checkout just in case they have an issue or problem completeting the checkout.  If its before the sale ends that you put the items in your cart they will show the sale price but if you finish the checkout process with payment after midnight the sale prices aren't valid anymore.

 

The front page article is on a automatic opening and closing and this happens at midnight as well unless there was a glitch that this didn't capture in the midnight batch run and had to be manually closed, I was on vacation so not sure if they had an issue with the automation.
