If you are just looking for a female character with basic morphs (aiko, Morphs++, etc), you can't go wrong with V4.  There is just so much stuff custom tailored, morphs, poses, etc.

If you are looking for more extreme shapes, then I would stick with Genesis...and learn hex or another modeler enough to finish out any auto-convert issues.
