As a general bit of advice, I want to point out also that you should pay attention to "exposure". In Poser we don't have the equivalent of a camera exposure control (even though the parameters make it look like we do.) So to increase your exposure, you have to manipulate your light intensities. All of them. So the fewer light sources you have, the easier this is.

And - use my light meter. It's free. It's easy to use. It does not interfere with render speed.

I used it here to find that a good intensity for my PBL, as measured from inside the enclosure, is about 900%.


Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
