In addition to Poser I have a stand alone Python installation. I edit in IDLE.

C:Python27Libidlelibidle.pyw

Poser has both idle.py and idle.pyw is the same relative location.

Just tried to run that within Poser and it balked. Suggest the stand alone method works best.
