The high Y axis is a familiar problem. It usually comes from a BVH file that was translated into a PZ2. BVH files generally don't have a BODY, and automatic translation often leaves either the BODY or the Hip at an unrealistic height.
The fingers are an unfamiliar problem, but neither of these problems should happen in a properly made pose file applied to the intended figure.
Check first to be sure the files are meant for V4. Then see if the files came with a readme that explains how to fix, or maybe a python script to fix the problems. If not, you can assume the pose files are badly made.
