How high is up? How low is down?....there has been a debate for many many years on just how tall each character is. There has always been huge disagreement and massive debate over exactly how tall any poser compatible character is.
My suggestion is grab a ruler prop from say Dr. Geep or Phil C or any of the others out there and use it to scale your characters in reference to each other. It doesn't matter if V4 is 6-0, 5-11 or whatever as long as you yourself create a reference scale for your rendered artwork. Meaning if you you use the same ruler for everything and think M4 is 6-2, and you want V4 to be 5-7 with M4 in the same scene, you bring in the ruler you have choosen and start scaling away to the relative height to each character in your scene.
If we all wanted exact precision with no disagreements on character heights, we would be using Solidworks, ProE or AutoCad and not Poser. Art in a general sense is not precise.
