Questor--Thorne has written about the control issue in earlier threads, so yes, that seems to be part of the deal. It's a futile gesture, of course--if, say, a hundred people buy a figure, how do you as the vendor sort out who's doing nasty things with them? And how many of those hundred customers will illegally re-distribute the figure to their friends, or (gasp) through a warez site? ReadMe disclaimers aside, the vendor/maker has absolutely no control over what happens to a figure after it's sold or given away. Really, the whole thing would be hilarious if it weren't so stupid and sad. It's gotten to the point where you can't post a nude unless she's got 40-DDD breasts and five pounds of pubic hair.
