Look under your scripts menu under partners and see if you have the netherworks PoseWriter Panel that has come with the last couple of versions of Poser. It allows you to save off just selected body parts, and has check boxes to select just Tranlsations, Rotations, Morphs or Scales or any comb of those 4 you want. I use it all the time to do what I think you are wanting to do.
