Quote - As long as we're talking about it, then I may as well ask. In light of the shoe situation as you describe it, do you guys prefer to have shoes come with an outfit or buy them separately in a shoe pack or something? That way you can pick whatever shoe you want to go with whatever outfit you you like. After all when you buy real clothes you don't normally get a free pair of shoes with them.
That's very true. Then again, when I buy normal clothes, I don't expect them to fit me when I gain and lose weight, or if I morph into a pregnant woman. :D We demand a lot from our 3d clothing merchants, don't we?
If the clothing is pants or anything that will need to tuck into a pair of boots, I prefer when the footwear comes with the package because the vendor of the pants will create a tuck morph that fits the footwear perfectly. But some tuck morphs work fine with other boots. It does depend on the outfit.
For skirts or shorts, footwear isn't necessary, though with some outfits we've come to expect the shoe/boot textures to match perfectly, which -- as you point out -- isn't realistic at all.
I'd think that, regardless of preferences, outfits sell better with footwear, even if it isn't exactly what everyone would want. But I'm only guessing based on the fact that it's rare to see an outfit in the MP that doesn't include some sort of foot covering.
