Subject: No facial expressions for Genesis figures in Daz -- any ideas to troubleshoot?

I've got the darndest problem. My Genesis figures, in Daz Studio, have no facial poses. Now, when I load them into Poser-- they do, so the morphs are there . . . but in DS, I get nothing.

By "nothing" I mean that there are no facial parameters available, and when I apply a facial pose, I get no change to the figure

I've deleted DS and reinstalled, with no luck.

V4 loads up fine with all her facial morphs, so its not that I'm not able to find where to pose a face, its that the Genesis figures don't seem to be installed correctly for DS.

Perhaps a kind soul might suggest something . . .

The main reason for issues like these relate to the data folder the morphs are stored. Check in the directory where Genesis is installed and make sure the path to the morph folder looks something like the image above. They need to be in the same folder as Genesis and not in a double up folder like /data/data.

@razor42

thank you. I do have these files, but they're under a shared library, rather than a user one. I suspect that its something to do with permissions (?)

I am going to have to do some work on this. I think that I once installed Daz "for all users" and it stuck some files into a shared directory, and some files point to the wrong place.

Its peculiar, because when I load up the Genesis figures in Poser, Poser can find the morphs.

I appreciate your input
