I have a folder called

Additional Runtimes  No, it isn't very original, but it is descriptive.

In it, I have 89 runtimes installed.  Why so many?  To start with, I have 1 for each figure (Miki, Dawn, Mariko, Adman, Alyson 1, MyMichelle etc).  In addition to that, I have certain special runtimes such as V4 clothing, Hair, Ancient Environments, Industrial Age Environments, Modern Environments, SF Environments etc.

The reason I break them down like this is that by doing it like this, I can load only the runtimes that I need.  For example, when I am working on my Star Trek graphic novel, I'll load my Star Trek runtime (which holds props, sets, and uniforms) and then whatever characters I am using, for example G2 female (Sydney, Jessi, & Olivia) SM G1 male (James & Koji), Genesis (for Dariofish's cool Genesis aliens). If I am working on my horror graphic novel, I'll load up a couple of figure runtimes, say Roxie, Miki 1, and Rikishi for figures and then my Modern environment runtime, which holds sets and props from the 20th century.

By doing it this way, I am not making Poser dig through half a terabyte of Poser content while I am working.
