No, I'm so used to using what apps I have I don't even think of "specialty" app. The closest I would have would be Genetica, and if I hadn't been in on that sence before the release I certainly couldn't afford it now. And I use it a lot. I can not only make all the textures I need as well as all the effects maps for them, I can also easily mod textures; or fix bump maps.

I got the 64bit version of Photofilter, but most of the tutrials are in french. It has a lot of options for a freebie and is easier to use then gimp. It's like photoshop, but more generic. I've got PSPX{paint shop pro 10} but it wont install to W8.1. I got it free while they were doing the very limited time free verion of it. I've never updated it so that could be why I can't install it.

Had to look up PE8 to see what it was, turned out there is a free{with regestration} version to download. Hey, I'll check it out at that price lol http://www.ononesoftware.com/products/effects8free/ I don't see any restrictions on it, but there must be.
