What I would like to see.... The greatest thing they could do is make Bryce plugin compatible, go the poser route and sell Bryce pro packs, with the features so many desire, I don't think it would be to hard to add a spline-lather modeler as a plugin, or a particle effects as a plugin, the code itself for these plugins wouldn't be difficult, its intergrating them into Bryce. I've been thinking about Susanna, and think it would probally be possible to have particle effects via that marvelous piece of software...
