moogal, the paths issue drives me crazy with most windows programs.  That's not to say SM couldn't improve the remembered directories.  I simply despise every other windows program defaulting in "My Happy Rainbow Documents".

Here are a couple of free solutions:

FolderMenu allows you to open up your saved favorite folders with a middle-click in the dialog window.

FileBoxExtender kind of does the same thing but is presented as an icon in dialog boxes.

Neither are perfect but it's better than swearing.
