for wallpaper i render at 1920x1080

i size my preview window at 960x540 when i'm at camera framng stage (rule of thirds), then render to exact size 1920x1080

Poser lets you set dpi, great feature, if you're selling prints on DA or Zazzle or similar, you'll need their pixel specs. Rendering book covers for create space needs 300dpi. book covers you usually need to add .25 inch to edges for full bleed space
