I was under the impression (after following the Poser tutorial) that I was creating dynamic clothing in the fitting room...

The option I was told (in the tutorial) to use was "create figure" despite it being dynamic clothing...

However, going over to "figures" seems to give me the option to add it to the library now - will have to see how that works out for me...
