Dynamic clothing ican be a single "prop" object file with no groups. It does not need them.
Conforming clothing has both a cr2 (as it is a rigged figure) and a object file with groups.(chest, abdomen, hip, arms, legs, and so on)
a) You "can" import a dynamic clothing object in the cloth room, do a cloth simm, and save the outcome as a "clothing prop" in your props folder.
b) You "can" import the same dynamic clothing object in the fitting room, and do a fit to your figure, but you will have to check the option "AUTOGROUP" to create the groups in the object file.
When clicking the final "OK", the Fitting room creates a conforming clothing item that is treaded as a figure. (As all conforming clothing is.)
In "a" Poser Cloth room only makes a modified object file => Goes in the PROPS Folder.
In "b" Poser Fitting room makes a fresh cr2 and a modified object file => Goes in the Figures Folder.
