It is better to have many smaller runtimes than one giant one.
You also have the option to only have some of them active. I have some libraries I rarely need except to demonstrate something or test it. For example, my Antonia content is in its own runtime library called Antonia. I do not have this loaded in Poser except when I need it. I add and remove libraries as I need, and I only have 7 or 8 loaded at a time, even though I have over 50 runtimes.
Poser only searches those that are currently connected. You can add and remove them at any time.
To remove one, in the library where it says Show Library:
Don't worry - the files are still there and can be added back any time.
You cannot unload the main content library.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
