I don't do animations with dynamic cloth, and content locations are still up the whim of the vendors (morphs under Poses has become the standard location), but I find Poser Pro 2014 to be vastly improved over Poser 7 in speed and capability, although the cloth and hair simulations are still single theraded.  However, I had few issues with Poser 7 when I used it; the Service Release must have fixed them...
