Well, as we all know, McDuff "was from his mother's womb untimely ripped", so we shouldn't blame him for his looks. He lived, and ultimately became the chieftain who defeated Macbeth, when Shakespeare was reporting for the Globe ;-) And BTW, now that I'm airing my shaky Shakespeare, this character is my mental picture of Iago (the evil, satyr-like schemer in Othello) pulled right out of my head.
