I read the OP as asking if any of those areas had been improved since Poser 7.  Poser 10/2014 is an improvement on Poser 7 with regard to the areas I mentioned.

I assumed the OP was asking whether anyone could recommend Poser 2014 based on his previous experience with Poser 7, and so I did.  Without knowing anything about his computer at the time of using Poser 7 I have to assume his current computer is likely more powerful.
