This a hoax. It happens quite often - many times in a lifetime.

Quote - Thus we see patterns of Sunday-beginning Augusts in clusters of years like the following:
- 1965, 1971, 1976, 1982, 1993
- 1993, 1999, 2004, 2010, 2021
- 2021, 2027, 2032, 2038, 2049
We're approaching the end of a cycle and thus the longest gap between occurrences, but that gap is a mere eleven years, not eight centuries.
Whenever August begins on Friday, then there are 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays, and 5 Sundays.
Whenver August begins on Monday, then there are 5 Mondays, 5 Tuesdays, and 5 Wednesdays.
The pattern of repetition for any given day of the week is gaps of 6, 5, 6, and 11 years. The complete cycle for any given day of the week is thus 28 years, so each group of three days occurring 5 times in August happens on average once every 7 years. (one day in seven) Go figure.
Note the same happens on any other month with 31 days.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
