Really very good points.  The "Generic Female Caucasian Face" bit reminded me of the old 3DCC Poser days, with all those characters adapted from Posette, using minimal face and body morphing.

There's a lot to think about, there.  I rather wonder if my own difficulties with modern takes on superheroes, for instance, have something to do with the level of detail in the material.  The simpler, more iconic comics of the past required the reader to fill in more blanks with imagination, and as more detail is added and greater "realism" is approached, it feels like they're trying to tell me what to think.  There's a distancing effect.  The result is less immersive or engaging, to me at least.  My current favorite superhero project is the artfully lo-fi Electra Elf, and perhaps there's a reason for that.  I wonder whether I'll find the added detail in a high-resolution Blu-ray release of Batman 1966 somehow off-putting.  Hmm.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
