Really good points, and a point I had made elsewhere. Wonder Woman is a hard character to cast. But I still feel there were other choices they could have made and didn't. We don't have access to the script, or to the thinking behind the casting, so we can't fathom why she was chosen.

But I do know this: we went from rumors that Wonder Woman would make "an appearance" in the new Man of Steel movie to Gal Gadot being cast as Wonder Woman with nothing in between. There is no mention anywhere of any other actress being considered, auditioning; nothing. I am betting with all the security on this film that there was an audition, with every actress who tried out having to sign a NDA...

And I wasn't there, but I heard through some grapevine somewhere that it is more than likely the costume revealed at Comicon probably won't be what we see on screen. It was more or less a concept. I kind of hope so. The costume I made for Sydney at the start of this thread isn't great, but it's still better than what Gal was wearing in that reveal. At least in my opinion.
