I think that personal opinion should be completely left out from this discussion and focus on the problem at hand.  The degree of success depends on the individual willing to invest the time to make it work, and I don't think that passing bias judgements is going to solve anything.  I have got it to work on a sub-optimal 32-bit system without major problems and I am quite satified with some of my workarounds.  Please do not turn this thread into a DAZ vs Poser slugfest.  There are plenty of users that can't even install and, no less, use V4 in Poser despite how long she's been floating along.
