Stacy,
After writing my comment, I was wondering of others were having the same problem. In the thread below is someone else who says they never encountered the Renderosity's minimum purchase price until recently.
I myself may have more orders below the minimum than the one I referenced, but it takes a long time to sift through the order pages so I just reversed the sort order and started from the back because I knew I had orders around $1.00 and never before hit a minimum.
I don't know when they started the $5.00, but I certainly never hit that, much less the $3.50. For me, despite the time I have been a customer here, this is new.
I will reiterate that I do not like the minimum price requirement. Please consider removing it.

To IceEmpress:
I do not get that "All fields of the selected payment method are required because I always use the Pay by check or money order payment method when I use a GC. I use PayPal for real "money" payments so that I do not need to give my CC data.
To StaceyG:
Thank you very much for your answer to my question.
It is strange that it is now impossible to buy something priced less than $3.50 because as I have mentioned above it was possible to do so until today. At least on July 21 and 22.
I have used very small remaining GCs to buy different things like these outfits and it worked perfectly:
Order #: 112559562 of July 21, 2014:

Order #: 112559613 of July 21, 2014:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=72491
Both items cost $2.00 and the payment with remaining GCs went through without any problem.
There is a fee for the payment by PayPal or CC but I do not believe that anything is charged for the Pay by check or money order payment method unless there is a real check or money order to cash at the bank and there is none since the total amount to pay is $0.00. The $0.00 is not a real transaction in this case. At least I think.
