Nope the system worked exactly as designed. It's because you originally purchased it in a bundle and due to so much customer feedback we disengaged the flag when it comes to bundles because sometimes a customer wanted to buy something in a bundle that maybe one of the items they already owned was in because it was still cheaper to get the other items in the bundle than to purchase them individually. It was one of the biggest request on our buyer survey a few years ago so we changed it and made a big announcement about it so customers would know that it's possible to have a duplicate purchase if one was a bundle purchase and to let us know if they didn't catch they already owned it due to one being a bundle purchase and we would refund the duplicate.
So in summary the system didn't fail, it's intended to work that way for bundle purchases.
I've given you an instore credit for the most recent purchase that was a duplicate.
