Note that I don't use the infinite because it's better or has a certain look. I use it because I'm lazy and I was doing a demo where the kind of light was not important.
Indoors, I'd use spots or point lights. Multiple.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
