Subject: Fouled transaction

I just tried to make a purchase and an error came up after submitting my CC information. It said there was an internal error, but when I checked my credit card account there is a pending charge there for $20.02 (the amount of purchase after coupon and Render Rewards). I was trying to use the prime coupon for SWAM, but I don't want to try again and get charged twice in case the transaction goes through. It is a pain to dispute and cancel transactions. Yet I don't want to miss out on the coupon. Please help. If the card has indeed been charged then the products should be made available.

Hello,

 

Credit Cards have a two step process.

 

An authorization puts a "hold" on the funds and a settlement actually places the charge on your card. Your credit card was authorized, but not settled because the address and zip were not verified.

 

This means your card company shows an authorization from Bondware, Inc. as a "pending" charge; however, you will not actually be charged.

 

It can take from 2 to 7 days for this "pending" authorization to be released from your credit card. You can contact your card company to find out how long the charges will be in "pending" since they will not be settled.

 

If you get the AVS failure, please do not keep clicking the Make secure Purchase button. Each time you do it puts another pending charge on your account.

Thanks, and I only click once :) That said, I will retry the transaction now and if I get charged for both the earlier one and the new one, we'll have to sort things out then. I will call the CC company to confirm that the card was fully processed. Thanks. AD

Okay I got you:) I manually settled your credit card charge and your order is now available for download.  There was some type of weird error I've never seen before but it was pending so I was able to manually capture that pending charge so if you go to your MY ACCOUNT page now you will see the order to download your items:)

Well! Ironically!? Just after replying to your reply, I went to my email and I received notice of the transaction going through. Interesting coincedence.
