The playset covers 1,430 times the area of the Poser ground plane.  So, how do you texture the asphalt at good resolution without huge memory burden?

I use two pairs of 512 pixel square tiling images (equal to a single 1024 pixel image in memory terms), and use two-stage scrambling to avoid obvious tiling artifact ("checkerboard", Moire pattern, etc).

To show what is happening, here those texture tiles have been replaced by red, blue, green, and yellow rectangles.  Notice that even the tile edges of different colors avoid lining up.  Two spot nodes are used, at two different scales, to determine which of the four tiles appears in a given area.  This enables texturing a massive set with good resolution at a modest cost in system memory burden.
