Yes, it should (the master machine is one of your five allowable cows).  The problem is that they are on two different builds.  Have you seen one of those little UAC popups asking permission to run an e-on updater on the CharlieS machine?  That cow needs updated.  It will try to do so automatically, but Windows' User Account Control feature will stop it and pop up a prompt box asking you if you want to allow it to run.  It could be behind another window (the Vue UI of the master machine, for example).  Look for the pulsing shield icon in the task bar.
