Yup, like Sabby said, we don't get your info at all. All we get is the handle of the buyer when they make a purchase. 

That said I've also never, in 13+ years, gotten an email from Rendo that stated:

"This item you looked at is now on sale."

The only thing I've gotten (which is actually similar) is notifying me when an item in my wishlist is on sale.  Are you sure these weren't items you'd added to that list?
