when ye click on home page here, yer security software may show connexion attempt below.  I allow it once at TCP port, every time, as I like to see who's in chat room.

however, this would not necessarily preclude any emails after browsing marketplace, unless there is SMTP port (unlikely) under "any connexion" category.
