Oh, that looks plenty good enough. I'm gonna have to give your method a shot.
Yeah, each time I complete a significant step, I duplicate the model, then continue development on the dup. That way, I can revert back to an earlier stage if I need to.
I've mostly been working on hardware today. I paid $900 for a refurb workstation with dual X5660 Xeons and an FX3800 Quadro Has a Win7Pro license. I bought six 8GB RAM sticks (max the mobo/chipset will read) and it's nearly ready to power up. This will replace the core i7 machine (which died on me) as my number two workstation.
