Well, it surprises me that people still use Firefox, which is slow as molasses, and is full of browser killing bugs every single time it updates. Last time I used Firefox, I couldn't get it to stop crashing every 20 seconds or so, after an update. This is par for the course, and I got tired of having to hunt down previous versions every bloody time I got the melodramatic fear-mongering warning that I needed to update because.... they found "a serious, deadly, most likely fatal security issue that if not addressed will result in the deaths of everyone you've ever loved".  Mozilla also likes to force updates on people, so you can only hit the infuriating "update or die" nag so many times before it will just do it on its own.

Yeah, Firefox's extensions are better for protecting you from malware, but they can't protect you from Firefox, which FOR SOME USERS is malware all by itself.

Use if it works for you. But don't belittle other people for using something else because it doesn't work for them.

I don't know why anyone would think Firefox isn't a commercial browser. Mozilla makes money from it just as Google makes money from Chrome and MS from IE.
