I have to admit that I do like Chrome and still use it on my laptop and other PCs that are not fitted with SSDs. If I had any ideas about using Firefox then the negative comments here would put me right off but the truth is all I want from a browser is to let me visit sites like Rendo without any real bother. Both IE and Chrome do that so I have better things to do with my time than download and install new software when the software I have already meets my needs.
I know there is a view that big corporations get big by being greedy but there is also the possibility that they are big because they supply software that and lot of people need or like and are happy to pay for. Difficult to prove which of these statements is true for any given company. I certainly have a number of companies that are on my 'black list' and will never buy from, but that is my list and I see no reason/justification to rant at others that do buy from, or use products, that are on my list. Then again I suppose one person's healthy use of ethical/safe products is another mans view of paranoia.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
