Be sure that;

• Select the imported mesh.
• Click the "E" box to Edit the mesh.
• Be sure "Solid When Boolean Rendering" is checked.

If it is still hollow when rendering, it is usually(?) the settings used in the program that had exported the mesh (sculptris , zbrush, etc)
I'm not familiar with sculptris.
