Best advice, if you don't have any idea what you are doing, leave it alone.  Before you start messing with anything, read the manual.  Read as many tutorials as you can find.  Ask as many questions as you need to.  Expect to spend some time on it and have to put some effort into it.  It will save you a lot of headaches in the end.
