Well, in the other forum it has been made very clear that SM will not make any comment as to whether this form of activation will be introduced in all future versions of Poser but they profess to listening to feed back.
I would therefore suggest that anyone who does not like the way the activation process works in the Game Dev versions make their views quite clear. From my point of view I am not against the activation process but strongly against the requirement to 'Phone Home' and the ability to automatically de-activate.
I have always been a strong supported of SM, as any of my earlier posts will show, however I have to say I am bitterly disappointed with the fact that this new procedure was introduced without it being made very clear to purchasers of the Game Dev Version before they purchased.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
