These things that I call Scene fillers, are the small details that make a picture more convincing. Texturing is a boog thing, since even a very simple model can be much improved with a good texture, and a bump map to add the small dings and dents.
The way I used to make cans like this was to spin the can on a form, turn a slange at the bottom. fold over a flange on the bottom, then fold it down and fold the whole join up (if you follow that. It makes the folded seam three layers of metal. The can could be drawn on a former, even in steel, you just need a good press. If die formed the scratches run up and down the can, spun the scratches go around the can.
The oilcan 2 lever should have a small pivot , the little pump mechanism could be more detailed but I didnt want to spend a lot of time on it.
I look for these things at sharecg bit more at turbosquid. Turbosquid has some excellent stuff but some prices are high.
