seems the way things are made in the real world don't have to be same as in poser world. folding stuff seems way over my head and a lot more work than necessary. but then i have no clue how one would turn roll press and fold so it is all over my head anyway.

I took a class in 3d modeling 15 years ago...freaking lifetime. RayDream was the defacto Mac 3D app. then.  It was 2  five week sessions and it went so damn fast I was in and out and nothing stuck where it was supposed to stick anyway. But from what i remember the teacher used vectors to create the outline, either in a vector app like illustrator or within RayDream, roughing the proportions, thickness/volume of the objects and brought them back into RayDream to build it. So all the stuff you are discussing as I said is beyond me.

I wish i could figure it all out. But, if 15 years ago I missed out imagine what my brain will NOT grasp now.

Frustrating because for simple stuff like this or worse, creating morphs for figures or uv mapping to get better texturing capabilities are also beyond me. I wind up either hoping I find already made stuff in the community preferable free (though i have spent thousands of dollars on this damn Poser sheitz over the years) or beg someone to make something for me. For instance, as a photographer I did a series of nude family photos similar to Jacques Sturgess nude photos of nudists. No longer a photographer for reasons not worth getting into, I am doing the same thing in Poser..or shall I say TRYING to do when I try to make it more realistic it becomes a nightmare.

I recently purchased some fantasy adult figure morphs for the K4 kids. Shamus, Grey Alien, Elf and Troll, The Imp, Grimlens and The Schmoes (I think they are called) to name a few and want to do full figure portraits of male and female and (smaller) kid for the portraits. Because they are morphed from the K4 kids the obvious genitals are missing. Adding the male bits is easy enough but for the female I am relegated to doing a fix to the texture or doing the little detail fixes in Post which I hate to do. If I knew even the basic use of morph tools or creating morphs in Poser it would be no problem. But, Alas, I DO NOT. Frustration prevails.

So, thanks for the oil can...one more image bouncing around in my head I might be able to get a bit closer to get out of my head and onto the Poser stage!
