this could be a 3d render but it needs a lot of adjustment to look like the image you posted...

see all the rim lights? Those are painted...and the hair also...not to mention eyes reflections and face feautures...

poser tends to render a little bit flat and you must be a master in understanding how specular lughts work to get a descent work like this...
