RorrKonn, before getting a new monitor, have an electrition check your power. One place I worked the wiring was bad or something and we would go through monitors like crazy. At another I had a monitor go bad when I had to run it during a brownout. You'll probably still need a new monitor but checking the power 1st may help you avoid other problems.
