I use it alot for some of the more exotic edge operations (spin, extend, etc.), the flex tool, arrays, and crazy extrusions. For sculpting, UVs, and poly painting it works well. Rendering and ui flexibility are very good, so too with the ability to create custom tools.
All in all I would say that Modo is an excellent all-in-one 3d package, probably the best. My habits keep me coming back to Wings3D as a base modeler probably because that's what I learned on (as with Poser), so my experience is that I usually do most of my thingies in wings and poser and turn to Modo generally out of guilt (laughter) or when I need to bring out the heavy artillery. Have to admit that I have nowhere near the facility with Modo as I do with Wings, but thats just personal idiosyncracy.
