I'm no help specifically with macs, but I had the same problem in win7 and pp2012/2014 and none of the suggestions I was getting from people in the forums worked for me. So what I did was create a separate runtime just for the Gen4 figures and their content, and I had the DAZ install manager install V4, M4 and all their morphs to that runtime. Then I linked that runtime to Poser. Since then everything has worked fine for me. I don't know if this will work for you but maybe it's worth a shot.
