Hi folks, I'm just learning to model and using Blender. I wondered if there was a repository somewhere of front and side images of simple objects; a toaster or stapler or teapot for instance, that I could load into Blender as templates for practicing. 

A toaster and stapler are not simple objects to model.  They are actually very detailed, with lots of small and oddly shaped parts, if you're going for realism. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Blueprint_Links_List
