Even if I weren't staff, if I ever decided to leave I wouldn't delete my account for precisely the reason WandW gave, so I could retain access to my purchase history. I rarely go to RDNA but a couple times I have needed to redownload one of my purchases from there, and I have a good deal more purchased from here than there.
